Clarence Pyke is Cheetah Resources’ Mine Manager at Nechalacho. Clarence has nearly 40 years’ experience in the mining industry, from gold mining underground and processing, to uranium and recently leaving the diamond extraction industry, having spent more than 10 years in various roles at Diavik Diamond Mine, to join Cheetah Resources at Nechalacho.
Clarence’s roles have included Crusher Mill Operator at Miramar Con Mine, Central Control Room Operator, and a Trainer/Assessor at Diavik Diamond Mine. Prior to that, he was an underground miner at Smokey River Coal, Alberta, Giant Mine, NT and Cape Breton Development, NS.
He has a range of qualifications as a Trainer/Assessor. His qualifications include:
Assessor/Trainer-Fixed Plant
Delta ‘v’ computer based certification for Process plant control room
Supervisor Level II
Auxiliary Equipment
Workplace Assessor MIHR
ESPS Electrical Safety Training.
