Evan Cranston

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Evan Cranston is an experienced mining executive with a background in corporate and mining law.

He is the principal of corporate advisory and administration firm Konkera Corporate and has extensive experience in the areas of equity capital markets, corporate finance, structuring, asset acquisition, corporate governance and external stakeholder relations.

He holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia.

John Dorward

Managing Director

Mr Dorward is a finance and resources executive with nearly 20 years’ experience.

Most recently, Mr Dorward was the President, CEO and Director of Toronto-headquartered Roxgold Inc (TSX: ROXG | OTCQX: ROGFF), which was acquired by Fortuna Silver Mines Inc (NYSE: FSM | TSX: FVI) in an allscrip deal valued at US$884 million in 2021.

Mr Dorward’s earlier roles include Vice President of Business Development at Fronteer Gold, a TSX and AMEX-listed mining company with gold and uranium projects in USA, Canada and Turkey, which was acquired by Newmont for US$2.3 billion.

He was also Chief Financial Officer of Mineral Deposits Ltd, an ASX and TSX-listed mining development company with gold and mineral sands projects in Senegal, West Africa, where he led its TSX IPO and associated US$50 million equity raising.

Mr Dorward is Chairman of Contact Gold Corp, and a Non-Executive Director of Surge Copper Corp and Taura Gold Inc.

James Henderson

Non-Executive Director

Mr Henderson is the founder and Chairman of Transocean Group since 1987.
He has more than 35 years’ experience in providing financial advisory services in Australia and overseas across a wide range of industries including medical
devices, aged care, clean energy and natural resources and specialises in providing advice to emerging companies relating to corporate transactions and strategies, including corporate advice, financial and corporate structuring, capital raisings and commercial negotiations.

James assists companies execute their business plan and advise on all aspects of development of emerging companies.

Prior to Transocean, James was National Chairman at Sothertons Chartered Accountants in Western Australia specialising in taxation, accountancy and corporate structures.

He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant.

Richard Crookes

Non-Executive Director

Mr Crookes is managing partner of Lionhead Resources (LHR) and chairman of the Investment Committee. He has more than 35 years of global resource industry experience across a diverse range of projects, geographies and commodities as both an operator and investor.

Prior to LHR, Mr Crookes was the Chief Geologist then Mining Manager of Ernest Henry Mining in Australia, an Executive Director of Macquarie’s Metals & Energy Capital division and, most recently, a senior Investment Partner at another mining private equity fund.

He is Chairman of Black Rock Mining (ASX:BKT) and a non-executive Director of Lithium Power International (ASX:LPI).

Mr Crookes holds a BSc in Geology and a Grad Dip in Applied Finance and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and a member of AICD.

Paul Quirk

Non-Executive Director

Mr Quirk is a partner at Lionhead Resources and is responsible for originating new investment opportunities and building and maintaining investor relations. Mr Quirk has had a successful career as a private equity investor, with more than 15 years of private equity and operational experience in mining and other industries.

Before LHR, Mr Quirk co-founded Lionhead Capital Partners, a multi-strategy principal investment firm focused on mining, real estate and private equity investing. He was one of the founding partners of Cora Gold, a gold exploration and development company operating in Mali. He has deep experience in mining operations and has been actively involved in exploration, mineral resources development, project finance and project management.

Mr Quirk has held various senior positions in a broad range of industries, including finance, mining and logistics industry, starting Fortis Logistique in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo. A key part of his career has been identifying and evaluating resource opportunities around the world – while leveraging a large global network.

He holds a B.Comm from the Northeastern University in Accounting and Finance.

Louisa Martino

Chief Financial Officer

Ms Martino has provided company secretarial and accounting services for eight years to a number of listed entities.

Previously she worked for a corporate finance company, assisting with company compliance (ASIC and ASX) and capital raisings. She also has experience working for a government organisation in its Business Development division where she performed reviews of business opportunities and prepared business case analysis for those seeking Government funding.

Prior to that, Ms Martino worked for a major accounting firm in Perth, London and Sydney where she provided corporate advisory services and performed due diligence reviews. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
